# Brand Kit

> Sonar logos, colours and type for anyone writing about or building with Sonar.

## Logos

White is the standard. Use the green symbol when the logo needs more presence, and black only on light backgrounds.

## Usage

Keep clear space around the logo so nothing crowds it, and always use the files as they are.

* **Clear space**: at least the gap between the symbol and the wordmark, on every side.
* **Backgrounds**: dark by default. The black logo only goes on light backgrounds.

## Colour

Dark first, green as signal. Green marks what matters, like a key action or a highlighted word. Everything else sits on dark neutrals.

## Typography

| Typeface | Used for |
| - | - |
| Graphik | Website, marketing, decks and video. A licensed typeface, so get it from its foundry. |
| Arimo | The Sonar app and product screens. Same metrics as Arial. |
