# Manage Strategies

> Track and control all your strategies from one place. Pause, adjust or stop anytime.

![The Strategies page in the Sonar app](https://docs.sonar.trade/images/docs/screens/strategies.png?v=20261104i)

Your strategies in the Sonar app: status, what moved and the last trades.

Every strategy has one of four states. Active and Paused switch back and forth, Stopped is final.

> [card] Active
>
> Running on its rules.

> [card] Paused
>
> On hold. Resume any time.

> [card] Stopped
>
> Ended for good.

> [card] Completed
>
> Reached its size.

* **Status**: Active is blue, Paused orange, Stopped red, Completed green.
* **Pause And Stop**: Pause any time. Stop asks first and is final.
* **What Moved**: What it sold and received so far, and what is left.
* **What Happens Next**: The next order and how far away it is, then the last trades.

| Action | What happens |
| - | - |
| Adjust | Change strength, limits and most other settings while it runs. |
| Add balance | Top up the size from the strategy’s settings. |
| Pause | Stops trading for now. The remaining size stays set aside. |
| Resume | Continues where it left off. It doesn’t catch up on what happened while paused. |
| Stop | Ends it for good. What is left goes back to the source it came from. |
| Duplicate | For stopped or completed strategies. Same token and settings, you only set the size. |
| Remove | For completed strategies. Takes the card off your dashboard. |

## Status While Active

| Status | Meaning |
| - | - |
| Executing | Trading right now. |
| Waiting | A limit or the market isn’t there yet. It keeps watching. |

> [!WARNING]
>
> **Strategies From Wallets Can Pause On Gas**\
> When a wallet runs out of gas, its strategy is paused. Add native token to the wallet, then resume.

## Stack Strategies

Each strategy runs on its own rules and only uses the balance committed to it. There’s no shared balance and no priority between them. Combined, they work as one trading plan you wrote yourself.

| Goal | Stack | Why it works |
| - | - | - |
| Launch (TGE) | Volume sell 15% above a minimum market cap + slow DCA sell | Sells scale with demand, with a steady baseline underneath. |
| Chart support | Volume buy below a market cap + Trigger sells above it | Buys absorb dips, sells take profit as the price climbs. |
| Structured exit | Trigger take-profits + Volume sell for flow | Big moves take profit, normal days keep distributing. |
| Unlock | Ripple over the unlock period + Volume Response sell | Distributes gradually and answers large buyers. |

> [!WARNING]
>
> **Opposite Directions On One Token**\
> A buy and a sell on the same token can react to each other’s executions. Turn on Exclude Sonar Executors, or give them separate market cap levels.
