# RSI Oscillator

> Buys when RSI climbs out of oversold and sells when it drops out of overbought.

Expert

RSI Oscillator follows the swings of a token. It buys when RSI climbs out of oversold and sells when it drops out of overbought. Signals fire when RSI leaves a zone, not when it enters it.

## FAQ

> [accordion] When exactly does a signal fire?
>
> When RSI leaves a zone, not when it enters it. A buy fires as RSI climbs back out of oversold, a sell as it drops back out of overbought.

> [accordion] Why are no signals firing in a strong trend?
>
> In a strong trend RSI can stay overbought or oversold for a long time, and signals come late. It works best on tokens that move sideways.
